Terms of Service
The ground rules for using this site and for projects we build together.
1. Using this site
By using turquinostudios.com you agree to these terms. The site, its copy, code, and the cinematic assets on it are our intellectual property. The interactive demos are provided for illustration — don't rely on them for real business decisions.
2. Quotes and proposals
Prices shown on the site are starting points, not offers. Every engagement is confirmed by a written proposal setting out scope, timeline, deliverables and fees. That proposal, together with these terms, forms the agreement.
3. Payment
Unless the proposal says otherwise, a deposit is payable before work begins and the balance on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Late payment may pause work. Fees are exclusive of taxes.
4. Your responsibilities
Timely feedback, content, and approvals keep projects on schedule. If materials or sign-off are delayed, timelines shift accordingly. You confirm you have the rights to any content you give us.
5. Intellectual property
- On full payment, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for you.
- We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, components, and know-how, and grant you a licence to use them as part of the deliverables.
- Unless you ask otherwise in writing, we may show the work in our portfolio and case studies.
6. Revisions and scope
Proposals include a stated number of revision rounds. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately before it starts — no surprise invoices.
7. Third-party services
Projects may rely on third-party platforms (hosting, payments, analytics, AI providers). Their terms and availability are outside our control, and their fees are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
8. Warranties and liability
We deliver our work with reasonable skill and care. We don't warrant that any website will achieve specific rankings, traffic, or revenue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point; we hand over what has been paid for.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction.
